When we work together for people and the planet, great things can happen and more so when resources and alignment are present. Many successful initiatives for nature-based solutions these days are structured under the framework of the Horizon Europe  (HE) Work Programme, setting the best minds in Europe to develop solutions that are in line with the EU’s policy priorities. The HE Work Programme, 2023-2025 outlined funding opportunities for research and innovation.

Last year, there was an opportunity to provide feedback to the HE workplan, leading to the co-design of the work programme 2025, covering 6 clusters, research infrastructures, European innovation ecosystems, the 5 EU Missions and New European Bauhaus. You can explore the feedback here.

As a result of this co-creative approach, the publication of the work programme 2025 is now available, which includes the following sections:

  • General introduction
  • Research infrastructures
  • Cluster 1 ‘Health’
  • Cluster 2 ‘Culture, creativity and inclusive society’
  • Cluster 3 ‘Civil Security for Society’
  • Cluster 4 ‘Digital, Industry and Space’
  • Cluster 5 ‘Climate, Energy and Mobility’
  • Cluster 6 ‘Food, Bioeconomy Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment
  • ’European innovation ecosystems
  • Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area
  • EU Missions
