
Presentation of a step-by-step guide to making a business case
This webinar will present a ‘’Capturing the Values and Making the Business Case for Nature-Based Solutions - a step by step guide’’ (NBS), developed through a collaboration between cities across Latin America and Europe committed to address shared urban challenge. We will also explore how the methods and tools proposed in the guide can contribute to fostering dialogue between urban stakeholders, to overcome funding challenges and facilitate the mainstreaming of nature-based solution.
Webinar’s objectives :
- Showcase the importance of NBS for urban resilience and provide an overview of funding challenges related to NBS implementation.
- Provide an overview of the methodology for NBS business case development as outlined in the step-by-step guide.
- Demonstrate the practical application of the guide on the Independencia Greenbelt, Lima, Peru.
- Discuss the challenges and opportunities in NBS funding and implementation from both urban stakeholders and donors’ perspectives.
