Description:

The BNCFF is helping to build the business case for investing in blue Nature-based Solutions by developing the pipeline of bankable Blue Natural Capital (BNC) projects, and connecting people on the ground with investors in boardrooms in the following ways:

1. Supporting project developers on the ground:

The BNCFF offers project development support to help project developers and enterprises build their business case and attract private investments.

2. Showcasing that BNC investments are genuine investments:

The BNCFF bridges the gap between the conservation and finance world, between theoretical concepts and actual impact. We collect and share lessons learned and produce credible and usable knowledge products.

Launched in 2018, the BNCFF is supported by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is managed by IUCN. The BNCFF has also received contributions from other donors.
