Description:

A systematic literature review is conducted in this study to explore how an ecological justice perspective can advance the understanding of NbS in the concept of cities and to address the knowledge gap in how to design and plan NbS in a non-anthropocentric manner to enhance co-benefits for humans and nonhuman living organisms. This paper suggests that a future research direction is how to recognise the capabilities and needs of nonhuman living beings, and enable space for their participation and agency in decision-making and co-design processes.
