Description:

This article assessed vulnerability on the base of three indicators: extreme temperature, air quality, and flood-prone areas. The research proves the potential use and replicability of Memorial Parking Trees on secondary streets in other similar or smaller cities beyond the three megacities (London, Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles) used for these case studies, but they can also be considered for other urban contexts such as industrial plants, suburbs, semi-suburbs, and parking lots. MPTs accomplish the viability, scalability, and redundancy established by the International Union for Conservation of Nature global standards for NbS.
