Description:
This paper suggests two areas for introducing NbS in urban planning: through the conception of new green neighbourhoods; and through the regeneration and re-greening of existing but neglected parts of the city, such as post-industrial brownfields or economically weak districts. The outcome of this study insists that it is essential for the NbS design and implementation to be fully integrated with other complementary planning interventions and seeks synergies across all sectors.
