Description:
How to develop and implement visions and strategies for the sustainable development of cultural landscapes – from rural to urban? How to increase their capacity to cope with the big challenges of the 21st century such as peak oil, climate change and demographic change? The chair was established in 2006 by the Allianz Umweltstiftung to address these questions in research, consultancy and teaching. The chair is part of Department of Ecology and Ecosystem Sciences at the Center of Life Sciences in Weihenstephan.
