This study presents an overview of the latest developments in the field of Building with Nature (BwN) for the protection of coastal regions, as a new generation of nature-based hydraulic solutions. This study investigates the new boundaries between BwN-based hydraulic solutions, ecological, urban and, landscape design to develop a new series of dynamic coastal landscapes, connecting the different disciplines.
