Description:

This paper examines NbS as one of the narratives for the built environment within the Shared Socio-economic Pathways (SSPs) framework in Japan, to assess the future evolution of the adaptation and mitigation challenges and long-term socio-economic and environmental consequences of human activities. The results of the study show that the NbS SSP scenario describes the lowest risks in both mitigation and adaptation compared to other developed scenarios.
