TeAM HUb is a professional community of organisations and individuals committed to the widespread dissemination of nature-based solutions in Hungary. TeAM is an acronym based on the Hungarian term for nature-based solutions, i.e. & Természet-Alapú Megoldások & Nature-based solutions support the protection, restoration and sustainable management of ecosystems. In doing so, they play a key role in mitigating the effects of climate change, avoiding damage caused by extreme weather events and natural disasters, contributing to water and food security, and maintaining a healthy and liveable urban environment.

Professional, technical, financial and operational knowledge on the application of nature-based solutions is still scarce in Hungary. TeAM HUb aims to provide a forum for sharing national and international knowledge, experience and good practices on nature-based solutions, and to stimulate dialogue and cooperation between governmental, municipal, professional and civil actors for the widespread practical application of nature-based solutions.

Our launch event provides an opportunity for meeting and exchange among municipal leaders, urban development experts and planners, and aims to increase knowledge aboutnature-based solutions, to learn about development needs and funding opportunities, and to brainstorm together to define the future activities of TeAM HUb.

You can find further information about TeAM HUb at networknature.eu, in the dedicated space for regional hubs.  Register here.
