The 2024 Innovate4Cities Conference (I4C24) is set to commence from Tuesday, September 10th to Thursday, September 12th in Montreal, Canada, co-hosted by the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM) and UN-Habitat. This premier gathering will bring together inspirations from academia, government, civil society, and industry to delve into the critical intersection of cities, climate science, and innovation. The conference aims to synthesise cutting-edge knowledge and solutions to inform the Seventh Assessment Report Cycle (AR7) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and address sustainability gaps through collaborative cross-sector actions.

Now the 2024 Innovate4Cities Conference Organising Team is calling for submissions from practitioners around the world. Whether you're a researcher, innovator or policymaker, share your latest work and insights that align with the conference themes: biodiversity and resilience, digitalisation, finance and governance. With an emphasis on inclusivity, submissions from marginalised communities and the Global South are particularly welcome. Selected submissions will be featured in plenaries, showcases and discussions, fostering dialogue and collaboration between local governments and sustainability practitioners. Submit your work to be part of this high-impact event to advance climate action.
