Mapping awareness, perceptions and education on biodiversity and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in Europe

In ᴇNᴀBʟS, we are starting our common journey by looking at the European landscape of biodiversity and NBS, especially in higher education. One of the main goals of this basic step is to identify the presence of NBS in universities and technical vocational education and training institutions (TVET) in both biodiversity-related and other disciplines. To achieve this goal, we conducted interviews with more than 70 experts all around Europe in Summer 2024. The majority of the experts who participated in our interviews were from universities. Additionally, more than 90 teaching and administrative staff at the higher education institutions and TVET organisations participated in our survey to share insights on their curricula.
