IUCN Asia and partners are excited to invite you to an upcoming webinar showcasing real-world applications of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for water across the Asia-Pacific region.

Nature offers some of the most effective, sustainable tools for addressing today’s water and climate challenges—if we know how to use them. This webinar will explore the potential of nature-based solutions (NbS) and ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) to strengthen water security, advance WASH outcomes, and build resilience of communities and services to climate impacts while safeguarding a stable and biodiverse future.

Designed for practitioners from the water, ecosystems, urban design, and climate adaptation sectors across the Asia and Pacific region, the session will deepen understanding of how NbS and EbA can be practically integrated into water service delivery, water resource management, and urban design.

Join us to hear diverse good practice examples from the following projects and organisations:

  • Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments (RISE) – Monash University, Fiji/Indonesia
  • Proliferating Ecosystem-Based Adaptation Practices in Indian Cities – National Institute of Urban Affairs, India
  • NbS for climate resilient rural and urban water in Timor-Leste – National Directorate for Water and Sanitation Regulations/Partisipa/WaterAid/Plan/Permatil, Timor-Leste
  • WISH+ project – Wildlife Conservation Society, Fiji/PNG/Solomon Islands
