The conference aims to explore practical strategies for integrating biodiversity into decision-making, particularly in relation to EU initiatives like the Regulation on Deforestation-Free Products.

Nine EU-funded research projects—CLEVER, BioValue, Rainforest, Bamboo, Bedrock, BioAgora, Bionext, BioTraces, and TRANSPATH are discussing together with policy makers, scientists, business leaders, and civil society representatives how European economies can thrive while reducing their impact on biodiversity both within the EU and globally.
