Join IRAlert project's webinar which aims to address the critical intersection of nature-based solutions (NbS), climate change, and public health on 5 December from 15:00 to 16:30.

This session will explore how health impacts, including infectious disease risks, can be integrated into the design and evaluation of NBS. It presents a unique opportunity for all stakeholders engaged in NbS implementation and related fields to engage with leading experts in discussions at the intersection of climate solutions and public health.

This event is designed for a diverse audience, including professionals working in environmental science, public health, urban planning, and policy-making. It will explore how some NbS projects may unintentionally create health risks, such as increasing mosquito breeding sites in urban areas. Current climate policies frequently fail to adequately consider the impacts of NbS on infectious disease dynamics, highlighting the urgent need for integrating climate change and One Health data into policy development.
