Area characterisation:
The Széchenyi square is situated in the center of the city, one of the most important green spaces in the city and the largest green space of the down town. It is functioning as a recreational park, representative urban green space, place for occasionally hosting events. As it is bordered with several public buildings, citizens visiting the park daily. It is also a hub for public transportation, however, the square itself is under local nature protection. Its value is given by the diverse flora which helps to improve the liveability of the city centre.
