Task Force 4: NbS Communicators
This Task Force synergises and enhances communication approaches and messages across NbS projects.
NbS Communicators synergises communication efforts of Horizon-funded nature-based solutions projects and select missions. We establish connections with international actors and the European Union to communicate and disseminate the latest developments in the nature-based solutions field. This Task Force work centres around building avenues for collaboration in the form of joint messaging, events and communications campaigns to ensure visibility. The Task Force also builds capacity of communicators through knowledge sharing and training.
We meet online up to six times a year. To join our full task force meetings and/or our walk in meetings, reach out to kassia.rudd@iclei.org.

Membership is open to people working in EU funded projects relating to NbS. Please include the following in your reason for joining:

Objectives
- Build Awareness and Communication: Collaborate for joint communication, exchange cutting edge NbS resources, and pool assets to support mainstreaming NbS in political recommendations. Engage projects, create targeted initiatives and products, and leverage media for impact. Team up to illustrate impact and relevance of NbS to the public.
- Exchange Knowledge and Resources: Foster collaboration for sharing knowledge/skills, contacts, and successful strategies among projects. Streamline approaches for impact measurement and communication processes.
- Support NbS Integration and Advocacy: Facilitate NbS inclusion in tenders, showcase successes, and advocate for policy integration.
Key Activities
Task Force 4 shares knowledge, engages in training and capacity building, develops common strategies and collates resources. The Task Force will explore the themes of common strategies, international cooperation, policy relevance, synergies with the EU, guidance for non-communicators, and explore workshops/trainings/capacity building sessions.
