DRAGONS
DRAGONS is a 3-year Horizon Europe project exploring why growing awareness of the biodiversity crisis does not always translate into meaningful action, and how the barriers preventing action can be overcome. Biodiversity loss is not simply a problem of insufficient knowledge. How people understand and respond to biodiversity loss and nature restoration is influenced by psychological and emotional responses, social and cultural contexts, communication and narratives, practical constraints, and wider governance and institutional structures. DRAGONS brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, citizens and communities to understand these interconnected barriers.
