Project Overview
Working across diverse Biodiversity Engagement Domains in Europe and Colombia, the project will explore how barriers differ between people, places and contexts, and identify opportunities for transformative change. Through surveys, interviews, policy and discourse analysis, participatory research and real-world experimentation, DRAGONS will co-create, test and evaluate practical interventions that strengthen biodiversity engagement and action. The project will also explore how successful approaches can be diffused, adapted and scaled across communities, sectors and governance levels. Ultimately, DRAGONS aims to support more inclusive and democratic participation in biodiversity conservation and nature restoration, while generating practical knowledge and approaches that can inform policy and practice
