Project Objectives
- Refurbishment of 3 green roofs.
- Monitoring the 8 pilot cases.
- Ensure positive service life of BIG systems, including a list of maintenance and monitoring tasks.
- The project promotes collaborative strategies for managing the BIG pilot cases.
Methods
- Doing previous characterization of all projects, identifying the building typology and analyzing the existent green roof construction system.
- Defining the climatology of each region, to choose the irrigation system and the vegetation species accordingly.
- Identifying the potential stakeholders of the building, neighborhood or the city, that could be helping in the maintenance and monitoring.
