D3.1 Parametric library of Nature Based Solutions (NbS)

This report provides policymakers with a practical toolkit to support the planning and design of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for urban drainage. It presents a library of 13 NbS techniques, each with key decision-making information, and a simplified parametric design method supported by an Excel tool for early-stage planning. It also outlines how NbS can be integrated into BIM workflows and includes evidence on their effectiveness in removing emerging contaminants. Overall, it supports more standardised, informed, and evidence-based design and implementation of NbS in urban drainage systems.
