This event is designed as a collaborative session for regional and local authorities to discuss various aspects of developing the proposed monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) tools.
The session will use a highly participatory format. Following an initial presentation of the current status of adaptation monitoring, participants will proceed to breakout rooms where regional and local representatives can actively contribute to the design and development of the framework, its visualisation and use dashboard, and the pan-European testing approach. The insights gathered will directly contribute to a framework for measuring adaptation progress across the EU, ensuring it remains compatible with the EU Adaptation Strategy and the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
