The NetworkNature Annual Event 2025 “Choose Nature” took place on the 15-17th of September 2025. It explored different means to align biodiversity and economy in times of urgency, building on the concept of Nature-based solutions. 

We heard from a broad range of stakeholders within the public and private sectors, examined diverse ideas, exchanged knowledge, explored initiatives, and shared case studies linking nature with climate, economy, innovation, finance and business and wellbeing. Through pitches and discussions, we will delved into pathways to build a resilient economy that benefits both people and nature. 

The event focused on four thematic sections:

• Choose to Work with and for nature – Looking how nature can help build a more resilient economy. 
• Choose to Trust nature and people – Delving into why we need to trust nature, and work with nature, to solve complex problems.
• Choose to Invest in nature – Looking at why public and private organisations should invest in nature, and how to sustainably scale up financial flows that support a nature positive economy.

• Choose to Partner with nature – Businesses share key insights from their business models, highlighting opportunities, barriers, needs and strategies for nature-positive business practices
