An official EU-presidency conference that will focus on transformative governance for food systems and biodiversity, bringing together European leaders and change agents. - Water Resilience Forum
Date: 8 December; Location: Brussels, Belgium
Following the launch of the European Water Resilience Strategy, the first Water Resilience Forum will unite experts, decision-makers, and stakeholders to discuss how to build a water-resilient EU by 2050. The forum will address key water challenges through sessions on innovative solutions, industrial resilience, and scaling water efficiency from local to global levels. The Forum will focus on the role of Local Regional Authorities in EU Global Gateway strategy. This workshop, organised by NetworkNature, will bring together farmers, producers, retailers, investors, and business networks to explore how Nature-based Solutions can strengthen resilience across agrifood value chains. Participants will exchange experiences, discuss the challenges of integrating biodiversity into business decision-making, and identify the knowledge, funding, and capacity needs of companies working with nature. The event will highlight opportunities and best practices while supporting the development of actionable strategies, tools, and resources to embed biodiversity into business operations.
