The barriers identified across all three research streams — language disconnects, exclusionary participation formats, institutional silos, short-term funding cycles, and the absence of economic models for stewardship — are not isolated problems. They are interconnected and systemic.

These six pathways translate those barriers into concrete directions. Each is mapped to a stage of uptake, though in practice they overlap and can be applied flexibly depending on context, actor, and scale. Real change usually requires working across several at once.
