Nature-based solutions: Policy recommendations for climate-neutral cities

This brief provides recommendations for EU decision-makers to strengthen international and EU frameworks, aiming to accelerate the transition to climate neutrality in Mission Cities by 2030. Recommendations are informed by practical case studies in the EU Cities Mission. The brief highlights areas for greater EU-city collaboration, namely through Urban Nature Plans, financing mechanisms, and the implementation of the Nature Restoration Regulation.
