The objective of this evaluation study is to carry out ‘an evaluation of the impact of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) on habitats, landscapes, and biodiversity’. It aims to evaluate the positive and negative, direct and indirect impacts of the 2014-2020 CAP on biodiversity and landscapes in areas under its direct influence, which include many protected habitats. It answers 15 evaluation study questions set by the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, following public consultation.
