This policy briefing explores how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction can support the EU nature restoration agenda and help achieve policy targets at scale. It highlights the need to expand local initiatives, improve monitoring and evaluation, and better understand barriers to scaling. It also calls for stronger governance, regional planning, and clearer evidence on the costs and benefits of NbS to support wider uptake.
