Resource description:
This report provides a critical evaluation of evidence on interlinkages among five nexus elements: biodiversity, water, food, health and climate change, focusing on biodiversity and on nature's contributions to people. It also provides response options (i.e NBS) that address nexus interaction and how the nexus can be governed for achieving a just and sustainable future. By improving understanding of these interconnections and identifying opportunities for collaboration across sectors and scales, the findings of the nexus assessment can contribute to synergistic and holistic management and governance. This resource can be useful for policymakers at different levels to better understand interlinkages between elements.
