NetworkNature launches a new way for NbS projects to increase the visibility and impact of the resources they upload to the website! By adding simple tags, your inputs will be linked to the EU NbS R&I Roadmap and contribute to informing future research priorities!
What is the Roadmap
This Roadmap is aimed at anyone involved in designing, funding, researching, or implementing Nature-based Solutions in Europe. It identifies 4 key action areas for research, innovation, and implementation of NbS, and is intended to support strong alignment between projects, as well as inform future funding and policy decisions. The 4 action areas are:
- Action Area 1 Advancing NbS knowledge and data - Keyword: Roadmap NbS Data
- Action Area 2 Closing the NbS research implementation gap - Keyword: Roadmap NbS Implementation
- Action Area 3 Mainstreaming NbS in policy - Keyword: Roadmap NbS Policy
- Action Area 4 Exchange, capacity building and awareness - Keyword: Roadmap NbS Engagement
See the Roadmap here: Link
How does it work:
- Categorise your resources into one or more of the 4 action areas
- Log in to upload content
- When uploading resources, tag them with the designated keywords (Roadmap NbS Data, Roadmap NbS Implementation, Roadmap NbS Policy, Roadmap NbS Engagement)
- And done!
Why do this:
By tagging your resource with the Roadmap’s Action areas, you:
- Track your contribution to the EU-wide NbS R&I effort
- Demonstrate impact across policy, research, and practice
- Increase your visibility and build connections within the NbS community
- Identify emerging needs and opportunities for collaboration
Contribute to monitoring progress and to future updates of the Roadmap and the EU NbS vision
Moreover, this allows funders to:
- Identify knowledge gaps and emerging priorities
Inform future policy priorities and funding opportunities
