Horizon Europe projects working on nature-based solutions across sectors are invited to support the dissemination of a new EU-wide market survey exploring the growing opportunities for nature-positive business activities. By sharing the survey within their networks and encouraging partners with connections to businesses to circulate it further, projects can help ensure that the perspectives of companies across Europe are captured.
As sustainability expectations continue to shape markets, policy frameworks, and supply chains, many businesses are exploring how to integrate nature-positive approaches into their operations. This survey aims to better understand where businesses currently stand in this transition, identify emerging trends and opportunities, explore key barriers, and highlight the types of support companies need to strengthen sustainable and nature-positive practices.
The insights gathered will contribute to the development of targeted training and skills programmes designed to support businesses in advancing nature-positive actions. By contributing to this effort, Horizon Europe projects can help strengthen the connection between innovation developed through EU-funded research and the needs of businesses that can implement and scale these solutions.
The survey is conducted as part of GoNaturePositive!, an EU-funded initiative working to accelerate the transition towards a nature-positive economy by supporting businesses, investors, and other stakeholders in integrating nature into decision-making. The study is led by Aarhus University (Denmark) and Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) in collaboration with partners across Europe.
