About the speaker
Dr. Malte Schneider has over 20 years of experience in climate, consulting, technology, and entrepreneurship. He has led a climate/energy policy research group at ETH Zurich (focus on carbon markets and renewable energy feed-in tariffs), built the Climate-KIC startup accelerator and Climate Finance Unit to successfully catalyse cross-sectoral efforts for climate protection solutions, and helped scale multiple climate tech startups from the inside or as an advisor. With AECO, he is working towards building the leading European peatland project developer and financier to inject private sector dynamics to help accelerate the restoration of these vital ecosystems.
