The IGNITION project is a ground-breaking project that aims to develop innovative financing solutions for investment in Greater Manchester’s natural environment. This investment will help to build the city region’s ability to adapt to the increasingly extreme impacts of climate change. The project is funded by the Urban Innovative Actions fund and will run until April 2022.
Join us at the conference and hear about the research, innovation and implementation that has taken place across the project by the 12 IGNITION partners and the key recommendations for investing in building the resilience of our urban environments to the impact of climate change whilst addressing the ecological emergency. These lessons learnt in Greater Manchester are replicable across the UK and internationally.
